How It Works

JATENZO is a prodrug consisting of testosterone esterified with undecanoic acid, forming a lipophilic compound absorbed via intestinal lymphatics into the bloodstream, bypassing first-pass liver metabolism and reducing hepatotoxicity compared to older oral testosterone forms. Dosage and Administration

• Recommended starting dose: 237 mg orally twice daily (morning and evening), with food containing 15-45 g fat to optimize absorption.
• Adjust dose based on serum testosterone levels measured 6 hours after the morning dose (e.g., increase to 316 mg BID if low, decrease to 158 mg BID if high); maximum 396 mg twice daily.
